Zhouqing Xie

Zhouqing XIE is a professor of University of Science and Technology of China. From Aug.2005 to Aug.2006, he was a visiting scientist at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, USA. From May 2007 to Aug. 2008, he was a Humboldt Research Fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Chemistry, Germany. His research interest is the polar environment, including atmospheric chemistry (i.e., aerosols, greenhouse gases, volatile organic compounds, etc.), the biogeochemical cycles of heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants, quaternary research and global climate change. In 2010, he was a recipient of National Outstanding Young Scientist Award from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
